Let’s sit down and discuss your needs and property before you decide. If you require centralized control and whole-property cooling, a ducted system is the better option. If you prefer zoned cooling and have a smaller space, ductless might be the right choice.
The first thing to do is to check the filter. If it’s dirty, replace it and see if that solves the problem. If not, check your thermostat and see if you must replace the batteries. If these troubleshooting tips don’t help, look for signs of a leak and call us. No airflow can be due to a refrigerant leak, problems with the evaporator coil, or blocked registers. All of these issues require professional assistance.
Check that the setting is on “heat,” as it’s easy to bump the thermostat to cooling. If that’s in order, check that your heating system has power. Look for a tripped switch on the breaker box. If that’s not the problem, check the filter and, if necessary, change it. If that doesn’t work, head outside and ensure the exterior unit is clear of debris. Finally, come inside and check the vents.
